If you have a vehicle that was damaged or lost due to Hurricane Helene, Milton and the subsequent flooding in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virgina county Subaru of America is offering $500 toward the purchase or lease of any new 2024 or 2025 model year Subaru vehicle. The program is open to those who prove that their loss occurred in a Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virgina county* which was affected by Hurricane Helene and floods that began on September 23, 2024

Program details
- Loss must be sustained because of Hurricane Helene and flooding due to Hurricane Helene in a qualifying area of Florida and North Carolina during the period of September 23, 2024, through October 2, 2024.
- Customer does not need to currently own a Subaru to qualify nor does the vehicle need to be totaled.
- Proof of loss: Customer must have proof of vehicle ownership, location, and loss because of the disaster. Ideally, an insurance company “Proof of Loss” statement. “Proof of loss” statements usually indicate the insurance company, customer name, date and place of loss, vehicle description and extent of damage and the insurance company’s willingness to pay a claim. Other items that may be considered include proof of residence within a qualifying area and during the period of loss, pictures identifying the vehicle, location, and vehicle ID number, combined with matching registration/title and driver’s license proving ownership. The Subaru Retailer must use reasonable means to confirm that the loss was because of the disaster
- The following must be provided via email or phone call to the Subaru Regional contact to qualify for the credit:
- A request for the $500 credit
- Proof of loss as described above
- Customer name and address
- VIN for the vehicle being purchased
- Customer must take delivery of any new previously untitled 2024 or 2025 model year Subaru vehicle from a participating retailer’s inventory by January 2, 2025.
- Customer must have suffered vehicle damage in a Qualifying Area, but any Subaru retailer may request the credit.
- Limit one offer per qualified damaged unit. One $500 credit per new vehicle purchase.
- This offer may be used in conjunction with low-rate financing offers, or special lease offers for new previously untitled Subaru vehicles from Subaru Motors Finance
- The credit may be combined with any other Subaru promotional offer unless specifically prohibited by that offer.
- Customer must take delivery of new vehicle from retailer inventory on or before January 3, 2025. Any use on SOLD orders must be approved by the Subaru Regional contact.
*Qualifying areas are defined as FEMA-designated Individual Assistance major disaster and emergency areas in the following Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virgina county as of September 23rd, 2024 (“Qualifying Areas”):
Florida - Charlotte, Citrus, Dixie, Franklin, Hernando, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lee, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota, Taylor, Wakulla
North Carolina – Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians of NC, Gaston, Haywood
